GOT QUESTIONS?
WE HAVE ANSWERS.

Are your products certified vegan?
Yes, our products are 100% certified vegan through Vegan Action’s vegan.org certification.

Are your products certified gluten-free?
Although our products are not individually certified as gluten-free, we make them in a dedicated gluten-free kitchen using 100% certified gluten-free ingredients.

You use chocolate in Chocolat Noir, are you sure your products are dairy free?
Absolutely. We use Guittard chocolates, which are not only dairy free, but also Fair Trade† certified.

Are your products certified kosher?
Although our products are not individually certified as kosher, we make them in a fully dedicated kosher kitchen using 100% certified kosher ingredients.

You use coconut oil, which is high in fat. Isn’t fat bad for you?
A common misconception is that fat makes you fat. We, however, believe in fat as fuel, especially when using a healthier, nutrient-dense fat such as coconut oil.

What’s up with all the nuts?
We created Original for our friend undergoing chemotherapy treatments. Due to his type of cancer, we had to design a mix that would help energize Kevin with healthy fats, protein and nutrients. Nuts naturally matched that criteria, so we started there. Each flavor has almonds and coconut as a base. So, as our tagline suggests, we truly are “Always nutty . . . never naughty!”™ But don’t just take our word, to learn more, you can check out the health benefits of nuts right here and here.

Why don’t you put paleo or keto on any of your packaging?
We don’t like to consider ourselves diet specific. We simply handcraft scrumptious, plant-based mixes using clean, all-natural ingredients that just happen to be paleo and keto (applies to specific flavors).

Why do you use apples as a sweetener?
We use organic apples as a sweetener because we love the health benefits and taste. Not that we don’t love doctors, but we think you know how the phrase goes.

I like my mixes with extra crunch. How does that happen?
We can't argue with that. If you pop on a baking sheet and into an oven at 225º for about 10 minutes then allow to cool for another 10, you’ll get that ‘snap’ consistency you crave.

Who do I contact for Wholesale opportunities?

How do I pronounce the name BOUCHÉES?
BOUCHÉES are as fun to say as they are to eat. You simply pronounce as [/bü-shāy/], but don’t be scared - we promise we will always have plenty to share, even if you don't pronounce the "s" at the end.

Where did the name come from?
The name BOUCHÉES was inspired by our French heritage and simply translates as ‘bites’ or ‘mouthfuls.’ As the baby of five, I was my mum’s little bite or petite bouchée. She used to say the best things come in petite packages. And when it comes to our BOUCHÉES, we have to agree that mama knew best.

Why don’t you call your products granola?
Our products are grain-free, so fundamentally, it just doesn’t seem right to call them granola. We refer to them as mixes because they go well beyond a traditional granola. They are as versatile as they are unique in flavor. You can eat them straight from the bag or enhance any meal by adding to soup, salad, veggies, ice cream and more. It’s your life, so grab a bag and you do you, boo.

How did you come up with your logo?
Our good friend, Kerrie, designed our logo with our founder in mind. Becca is a staunch foodie who is also quite loving and silly at heart, so we think the logo captures her essence perfectly. Plus, she’s notorious for always closing her eyes in pictures, to which she says #sorrynotsorry.
